Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesday December 1, 2015

This past year alone, more than 2,500 volunteers engaged over 6,500 disabled veterans participants nationwide. Program numbers are growing fast too, bringing fly fishing to more veterans and active military than ever before.  We want to increase the number of participants in our Programs to 10,000 over the next three years.  To make this a reality, we need your help this #GivingTuesday

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, December 1, 2015, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give. It’s a simple idea. Just find a way for your family, your community, your company or your organization to come together to give something more. Then tell everyone you can about how you are giving. Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity.

Everyone! #GivingTuesday is an initiative to start the giving season and we encourage everyone to be involved with it.

#GivingTuesday can build on the strength of a global movement to increase exposure and build support for Project Healing Waters's cause and philanthropic activities, especially during the holiday giving season. We will provide a variety of “plug-and-play materials here that can help you use social media and innovative marketing to draw attention, support and funds to your cause. Project Healing Waters will have the opportunity to join over 10,000 partners around the world to enhance the philanthropic sector as a whole; just as the retail world has benefitted from coordinating national shopping days across many brands and platforms, #GivingTuesday will do the same for giving
