The 10th Annual 2-Fly Tournament at beautiful Rose River Farms to support Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing is being held April 30 – May 1, 2016. The fun kicks off with dinner under the stars Saturday night and Sunday sees fly fishing tournament action with PHWFF veteran participants from around the country compete, guided by industry professionals. Joining us for the weekend are numerous special guests and we’re very pleased to announce that legendary angler, Lefty Kreh, will be among them!

Lefty Kreh served this country with honor from 1942 to 1947 and is a combat veteran from the Battle of the Bulge. He continues his service today as a generous supporter of Project Healing Waters, selflessly giving his time and sharing his talents and knowledge with our disabled active military and veterans..For more than 50 years as an outdoor writer and fly fishing instructor, Lefty Kreh has touched more lives and converted more people to fly fishing than anyone ever has or ever likely will. He has truly been a servant to the fly fishing community, having given selflessly with his teaching skills, innovations and humor, and adding immeasurably to the level of enjoyment and satisfaction that many of us have experienced from the sport of fly fishing.

The pre-tournament dinner starts at 5pm on Saturday night April 30th under the stars in picturesque Madison County, Virginia.  Tom Brokaw will serve as the keynote speaker for the dinner at Rose River Farm.

Current participants in the Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing Program, and alumni, will also be on hand throughout the weekend to discuss the challenges facing today’s service members, both physical and emotional, and the impact PHWFF has had on their recovery and transition.

The tournament competition kicks off at 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning May 1st and features PHWFF participants from across the nation.  Military/veteran participants will be partnered with a professional fly fishing guide from among the most notable names in the sport.
