Batavia and Buffalo VA
in Potter County PA

June 2008

Veterans from Batavia VA and Buffalo VA hospitals were treated to a
fantastic fishing experience at Moores Fishing Preserve in Austin
Pennsylvania in June.

The event was sponsored by the Gods County Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
Our group stayed at First Fork Lodge in Costello about three miles from
the fishing preserve which is owned by Roy and Kathy Magarigol. The
waters are loaded with big browns and Kamloops grown in a hatchery right
at the preserve.
Plenty of fish were caught but the hospitality of the wonderful people
of Potter county Pa was unbelievable! Warriors enjoyed Prime Rib dinners
and even an outdoor barbecue with all the trimmings.

The event is on again for next June 16 , 17 and 18th. This was a trip to
be remembered forever.
