Certificate of achievement Award

All -- yesterday, Eivind, John Colburn and I proudly accepted the attached on behalf of all of you who have so generously helped throughout the past year with Project Healing Waters. The Chiefs of the Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinics at Walter Reed hosted a Thanksgiving Lunch to recognize the ongoing contributions of the volunteers that help them day in, day out, in the rehabilitation of the wounded men and women in the Clinics. Both officers spoke from the heart when they said that they and their staffs deeply appreciated the work the volunteers do, and the positive impact we all have on the rehabilitation of the wounded. PHW was one of perhaps a dozen or more organizations and individuals that were recognized. It felt very good to be included in such company - all doing wonderful work for our servicemen and women. Eivind indicated that one elderly couple, both former military, have been coming down to the clinics everyday for the past 4 or 5 years, meeting and helping every new wounded and their families!

I hope this Thanksgiving finds all of you enjoying the Holiday and giving thanks to the brave men and women that you have supported through Project Healing Waters. I add my thanks to theirs, for all YOUR support and the support of your friends and families.
