On February 11, 2017 the PHWFF New York City Program gathered at Orvis Manhattan for a fly tying class.   Volunteers John Enochty, Dean Chavooshian, Aaron Darr, and Program Lead Warren Stern worked with veteran participants Scott White, Maria Bouziotis, Bob Moran, and Herbert Sweat.  They focused on basic fly tying techniques and concepts and learned to tie both the Partridge and Orange Soft Hackle flies.
Rob Ceccarini, Orvis fishing manager at the New York City store, graciously provided workspace, tools, and materials.
