Emily Hendricks, a native Southern Marylander, is Project Healing Waters’ Chief Administrative Officer. Emily graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1999, and pursued a career in non-profit management and educational programming. Prior to joining PHWFF, Emily was a program coordinator for the Department of Academic Affairs at the College of Southern Maryland. Emily currently serves as a councilwoman for the Town of La Plata and volunteers at Chapman State Park in Indian Head, Maryland.
Emily is a distance runner and triathlete. She is usually training before the sun comes up. A lover of all things outdoors, Emily likes to spend her free time hiking and paddle boarding with her family and rescue dogs, Luna and Cody.
