Richard A. Haynes, a Birmingham, AL native, retired from pharmaceuticals in 2005. In college at the University of Alabama, he discovered fly tying and fly fishing. He has tied flies and fly fished for over 30yrs. Fly fishing has taken him from the deep, murky rivers and streams of Alabama and Mississippi, to the fast moving, high country streams and clear lakes of Wyoming and Colorado. An avid dry fly fisherman, Richard has an appreciation for the expertise and precision it takes to mimic a caddis fly to perfection which causes a fish to rise.
He is the father of 3 adult sons and lives in Birmingham, AL.
