Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing (PHWFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Maryland. PHWFF is dependent on tax-deductible, charitable donations and the help of numerous volunteers to meet the educational, equipment, transportation, and related needs of its participants.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. will bring a high-quality, full-spectrum fly fishing program to an ever-expanding number of disabled active duty service military and disabled veterans across the Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, in military hospitals and the Warrior Transition Command. We will focus our resources wherever the need is greatest and expand our partner base in the process. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. will become recognized as an innovative leader and model in the field of therapeutic outdoor recreation for the disabled, through its successful application of the sport of fly fishing as a rehabilitation tool.

Our success in attracting multiple sources of funding will enable PHWFF to become financially secure and capable of developing our infrastructure to support these ever-expanding requirements. Our organization will always rely on dedicated and skilled Volunteers, and we will augment, as necessary, our Headquarters Staff and Volunteers. As the number of Programs increases, our business and organizational model will adapt, by incorporating new management imperatives. We will adopt financial and other management systems to streamline reporting and responsiveness to our stakeholders. But we will never forget our basic focus is the individual disabled Veteran or Service Member to whom we owe so much for their service to this country. We will be recognized as an outstanding non-profit organization.
