The PHWFF program in Colorado Springs is one of the largest in the country with over 175 volunteers and serving approximately 300 disabled veteran participants annually active. The local program conducts year-round fly fishing activities for the participants – fly tying, rod building, and fishing classes as well as over 45 fishing trips per year.

“The annual Fly Fishing Film Tour fundraiser presented by the Anglers Covey and Royal Gorge Anglers provides a significant portion of our local program’s annual budget. This event funds the equipment, supplies, trip costs and other expenses associated with providing our Disabled Veteran participants yearround fly fishing opportunities, in the classroom and on the water. For our participants and volunteers, fly fishing can become more than a sport, it can enable reconnecting with their community and our beautiful outdoors as part of their healing journey,” says Pete Lofy, Program Lead of the Colorado Springs Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing program.

The Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) is the original and preeminent exhibition of fly fishing cinema, The F3T is a one of a kind experience. Each year fishy folk of all ages gather at premieres to soak up films from around the world, spin a few yarns amongst friends and dream about casts still unmade.

Tickets can be purchased in-advance at Angler’s Covey and Royal Gorge Anglers for $12, online for $15 at https://events.ticketprinting.com/event/22201. Tickets will be available at the door for $15.
