We’re very excited to announce a new program serving injured and disabled active duty military and disabled veterans in our New England Region!  The program will serve the state of New Hampshire and came about due to the dedication and hard work of Ron Ouellette, Regional Coordinator George Draper, and Sara Cahn of Mountain High Fly Shop.  The newly launched PHWFF Littleton, New Hampshire Program will meet on September 9, 2017 from 9:30 – 11am at the Littleton Community Center.  If you’re interested in learning more or attending, please contact Program Lead Ron Ouellette at rouellettenh@gmail.com or see the flier below for more details!

“Our interest in starting the program began last year. After attending our National and Regional TU meetings we noticed a lack of ADA accessible Fishing Areas and Veterans Fly Fishing Programs in the state of New Hampshire.  All of the neighboring states had established PHWFF Programs so we began exploring opportunities to start a program for veterans in Northern NH.  Sara Cahn of Mountain High Fly Shop (in Lincoln, NH) agreed to assist us as she had also been searching for a partner to bring a PHWFF Program to New Hampshire’s disabled veterans who have given so much.  It is our hope that with establishing a successful program up in the North Country that other regions in New Hampshire will begin programs of their own to reduce the need to travel far and to make it easier for those who wish to participate.” – New England Regional Coordinator George Draper
